Services include but are not limited to the auto attendant, Call Recording, caller ID, call transfer, conferencing, ring groups, call monitoring, corporate directory, presence and simple call queues. In addition, our customers get access to the advanced video solution on a pay as you go basis. In addition to this, you get the ability to connect this to a desk phone or a desktop / mobile app, Microsoft Teams and CRM integration.

Our standard + Video solution includes all the above, but the video calls are included in the package. Finally, our contact centre gives you enhanced queues with automatic call back of the customers, wall boards for your business to monitor what is happening on the phone system and enhanced reporting so you can get to the bottom of what is happening with your call flows.

VoIP FAQ

  • In the UK, landlines over copper cables are being retired by Openreach in 2023 when you cannot order a new line, and in 2025 when they withdraw the product. VoIP is a solution that allows landline numbers to work over the internet. It has many advantages such as quality and cost.

  • The call quality on VoIP is higher than that of a standard phone call, but if the provider doesn’t do their job right, you can get poor quality calls. At MSP Phones, we check the internet links you intend to work from and have servers placed for minimum latency, which affects the quality of the call. We also use routers which prioritise the VoIP traffic.

  • Openreach will no longer provide landlines from their exchanges; they all must use VoIP. Moving is simple, and we can help you.

  • We encrypt our telephone traffic so your call cannot be listened to. Some providers try to reduce the costs of their servers by not encrypting the traffic. This means someone sniffing your office network could hear the content of calls.

  • Yes, it effectively replaces the traditional PBX you install in your office. The functionality of the PBX is provided from the cloud, and we perform all the maintenance of your PBX.

  • Yes, you can, but you need to check the legality of your profession. Be aware that some providers charge extra for this.

  • 95% of numbers can be moved to VoIP; give us a call, and we can check this for you.

  • Yes, you can have a number anywhere in the UK or the world.
